Faith in humanity restoring..

Last year on the 10th of September, Jamal Rutledge was arrested for violating his parole and was taken to jail by officer Franklin Foulks. Suddenly the officer suffered a heart attack and fell on the floor. What the teen did next to save the man was he starts to shout for help from the cell and kicking the door to get the attention of other officers.

Four officers heard the noise and quickly came to the scene, seeing the officer having a heart attack. They deploxed a defibllirator keeping him alive untill an ambulance arrived. The staff at the Broward Health Medical Centre said without the actions of Jamal, the officer would have died. Jamal Rutledge and the four officers are being honoured by Fort Lauderdale with an award ceremony.
